The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to resume domestic operations from Multan, Gwadar and Sukkur on Independence Day.

The PIA has already announced 14 per cent discount on domestic flights plus 73-kg free baggage allowance per passenger under its seven-day Jashan-e-Azadi package.

The discount would be available on the national airline’s primary domestic routes between Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore, a spokesperson said.

The national flag carrier halted its domestic flight operations as part of protective steps to stem the spread of Covid-19.
