The Parliament Lodges are infested with rodents as they keep scurrying around the place, making late-night trips to the bed chambers of the parliamentarians.
Last night, a mouse dared entered PPP leader Shahida Rehmani’s bedroom and scampered after biting the sleeping parliamentarian, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media on Wednesday, MNA Rehmani said that she was bitten by a rat while she was asleep in her bed-chamber in the Parliament Lodges. She held that she had to get the anti-bite injection.
She asked the parliament administration to take notice of this mismanagement in the lodges.
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri has issued directions to the director of Capital Development Authority in this regard.
