A terror bid was foiled in the federal capital of the country, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Wednesday.

An explosion took place after two motorcycles fitted with explosive material had a collision in Bhara Kahu area in Islamabad.

The police found explosive materials, detonators, and other stuff used to carry out terrorist activities.

The incident took place the day when the security forces had an encounter with terrorists, leaving two suspected terrorists dead in DIK.

Earlier, the police patrol came under a remote-control bomb attack. The lawmen escaped unhurt.
