The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will issue a commemorative coin of Rs100 on the occasion of the 10th-anniversary celebrations of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The coin will be issued from August 11 through the exchange counters of SBP Banking Services Corporation.
According to SBP, the coin is round-shaped with serrations on the edge, diameter of 30.00 mm, a weight of 13.5 grams and contains 75 per cent copper and 25 percent nickel.
The words "ISLAMI JAMHURIA PAKISTAN" in Urdu script are written above and below the star in the periphery while in English script "CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF CPEC" is written.
The two words are separated by two stars (on the left and right sides of the coin).
The actual value of the coin is written in bold numerals "100" and "Rupiah" in Urdu script to the right and left.
