Parliamentary affairs minister calls on PA speaker

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ali Muhammad Khan and Ejaz Chaudhry called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at his resident on Thursday.

They enquired after ex-PM Ch Shujaat Hussain and prayed the Almighty may bless the seasoned politician with health.

During the meeting, the political situation, Covid-19 combat, and financial issues came under discussion.

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi laid stress on following SOPs to stem the spread of coronavirus, saying: “The second wave of the corona is dangerous and precautions must be taken to prevent the loss of precious lives,” he said. 

Salik Hussain MNA, Secretary PA Muhammad Khan Bhatti and Malik Umair Wahid were also present.
