Pasrur police Sunday successfully arrested 45 Afghan nationals, including men, women, and children, who were found working illegally at a brick kiln in Bin Bajwa, Sialkot.
The kiln owner and manager had reportedly provided shelter to the Afghan workers, exploiting them for labor.
Acting on information, the Pasrur police executed a raid, apprehending all the Afghan citizens who were working in precarious conditions at the kiln.
The police operation also led to the arrest of the kiln owner for his involvement in the exploitation of illegal Afghan workers.
Following the operation, all the foreign nationals were transported to the Sialkot Hockey Stadium camp. This camp is specifically designated for housing and managing illegal Afghan residents.
The police have registered an FIR against the illegal Afghan workers, manager and owner of the kiln.
