Famous social media stars Kanwal Aftab and Maaz Safder have responded to established Pakistani actor Fahad Mustafa’s controversial statement regarding social media influencers.

Kanwal: A few days ago, the news was making rounds in which one of our senior celebrities said that if I am not wrong, said that I feel ashamed that social media influencers are selling families to earn money, as this is not our own point of view we just wanted you to make it clear.
Maaz: “I heard his statement but I didn’t react because I did not want to, however, I thought that I am working like the way he’s working too. I met him once in Karachi (in Ary Studio). I like him. He makes the best films, he is a respected figure. I even love his work; I watched Quaid E Azam Zindabad in the cinema and we appreciate him. Now, I would like to say that people will run their houses in some way. I feel that he should think that If he is working with a girl in the film, that girl also has a family. If you will take it positively it is well and good and if you consider it negatively you will assume it alike.

Over the last statement of Maaz Ch, Kanwal said: yes, promise, I was also thinking the same last night that if you and I are doing a drama together, we have our families but in drama, we are playing our characters, and I will also make money by selling my character on camera so what’s the difference as people on TV are also selling something”.
