AQI aggravates, Lahore ranked as the third most polluted city in world

The provincial capital’s air quality index continues to aggravate as after Bishkek and Dhaka, Lahore has been ranked as the third most polluted city in the world on AQI index, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. Lahore's overall air quality index was recorded at 190, which is reported to be harmful for children, the elderly and pregnant women.
Polo Ground Cantt recorded the highest air quality index of 269. GC University 246, Mushtaq Gurmani Road Gulberg 239, UMT Johar Town 222, Valencia Town pollution rate touched 216.
DHA Phase Five index stood at 210, Johar Town 206, Tufail Road 204, UCP 201 and Ghazi Road Interchange recorded 199 at AQI. The health experts have urged the citizens to take precautionary measures and use masks.
