Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had signed an autograph for her sons, Taimur and Jeh, during her family’s visit to commemorate the legacy of legendary actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Kareena shared the photos and expressed her gratitude to the prime minister, calling it an “extraordinary moment” for the family.
“We are deeply humbled and honoured to have been invited by the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, to commemorate the extraordinary life and legacy of our grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor.
"Thank you Shri Modi ji for such a special afternoon. Your warmth, attention, and support in celebrating this milestone meant the world to us.

Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival
Raj Kapoor's 100th birth anniversary is quickly approaching, and the Kapoor family is preparing to honour the late actor-director, known as 'India's Greatest Showman'.
The Kapoor family, including Kareena, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, and others on Tuesday travelled to New Delhi to invite Prime Minister Modi to the event.
Notably, RK Films has partnered with the Film Heritage Foundation and the National Film Archive of India (NFDC) to present exclusive screenings of Raj Kapoor's classic films
All About Raj Kapoor's 100th Birth Anniversary Celebration
Kareena shared information about the spectacular festivities on social media on December 4. From December 13 to 15 a special screening of Raj Kapoor's most famous films would be held in 40 cities and 135 theaters around the country.
Kareena shared a poster on her Instagram handle with the caption, "His legacy lives on. We are so proud to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of my grandfather, India’s Greatest Showman, Raj Kapoor. Join us from Dec 13-15, 2024, on a nostalgic journey through his most iconic films, screening in 40 cities and 135 cinemas. #RajKapoor100."
Raj Kapoor films to be screened
Ticket prices are set at a symbolic Rs 100. The screenings will take place at the PVR-Inox and Cinepolis theatres. Ten films featuring Raj Kapoor will be shown at this special film festival, including timeless masterpieces like Aag, Barsaat, Awaara, Shree 420, and Mera Naam Joker.
