Pushpa 2: The Rule has been ruling the box office, especially with its Hindi version outperforming other languages on weekdays. In just six days, the film has amassed a staggering 375 crore Indian rupees in Hindi.
On Tuesday, the action-packed film starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna earned 36 crore Indian rupees at the box office, marking a 25% drop from the previous day's earnings of 48 crore.
The film has already surpassed every Hindi film of 2024 at the box office, except for Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2. This makes Pushpa 2 the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024. Currently, it is 59.62 crore away from becoming the highest-grossing South Indian Hindi dubbed film post-COVID, a record held by Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 with 434.62 crore .
Pushpa 2 has outperformed all other South Indian films (Hindi versions) released post-COVID. The sequel has earned 258% higher than its predecessor, Pushpa: The Rise, which earned a total of 106 crore in its lifetime at the box office.
