Renowned Pakistani host, television actress, doctor, and entrepreneur Shaista Lodhi appeared as a guest at Nida Yasir's morning show 'Good Morning Pakistan' where she gave a useful tip to reduce weight.
In the show, she also told how to improve health after cutting white salt from the diet.
Shaista said, “Salt is important for us, but the quality and the quantity of salt matter. There is a small experiment that you all can do with yourself. Just measure your weight and stop eating salt for three days, and then see the change in your weight; you will at least lose 1.5 kg of weight because it is water weight. Remove white table salt from your life because it affects cognitive health, and makes you bloated. Food with a high quantity of salt makes your body bloated. Use less salt and use Himalayan salt, Lahori salt, or pink salt”.
