Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Friday expressed reservations on both the performance of ministers and distribution of certificates among them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He wrote a protesting letter to Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Establishment Arbab Shahzad to register his displeasure in this regard.
In his protesting letter, FM Qureshi said that in the first quarter of the performance agreement, the Foreign Ministry had achieved 22 targets out of 26.
Qureshi added that out of the remaining four, one of the targets was done by 99 percent.
Meanwhile, the reasons for delaying the remaining three projects were mentioned in a letter penned on October 27.
FM Qureshi said that the performance of the Foreign Ministry in the first quarter of achieving targets remained by 70 per cent. In contrast, to which, the average performance of the rest of the ministries was 62 per cent.
FM Qureshi added that in the second quarter, the Foreign Ministry has achieved 18 targets out of 24.
Shah Mehmood raised questions and said that no written guideline was issued for the third quarter.
