A rare species two leopards were found dead mysteriously in Changla Gali areas of Abbottabad district, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per details, the incident prompted swift action from wildlife authorities as teams from the Department of Wildlife of Abbottabad were dispatched to the scene located at Seer Gharbi Road in Changla Gali.

This isn't the first time such an occurrence has been reported in the area. Just a few days prior, a similar incident involving two leopards in lifeless condition had been recorded in the same vicinity.

According to wildlife experts, leopards, known for their rarity and endangered status, are facing a declining population in Pakistan’s northern areas, exacerbating concerns surrounding their conservation.

As the rare cheetah population continues to decline, urgent action is needed to address the threats facing these magnificent creatures and ensure their survival for generations to come, they said.
