In the Usman Mirza abuse and blackmailing case, the victim boy and girl deviated from their statement, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.
According to the report, a case of violence and blackmail against a boy and a girl was heard in the District Sessions Court E-11/2 area of Islamabad.
Affected girl Sundus and boy Asad along with their lawyer appeared before Additional Sessions Judge Ata Rabbani.
During the hearing, the victim deviated from her statement and submitted the affidavit in court.
The victim testified in court that the police had made the case themselves.
The girl said before the court that I have not identified any of the accused nor have I signed any papers. I did not give the affidavit under any pressure, added the girl.
It is relevant to mention that in a hotel in Islamabad, a man named Usman Mirza made a video of a boy and a girl being stripped naked and then blackmailed.
Police recorded the statements of the victim, a young girl and a boy, while police officials said that the victim and the boy were married.
The whole affair surfaced when a video of inappropriate treatment of a girl and a boy went viral on social media.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had taken notice of the incident in Islamabad and contacted IG Islamabad and directed him to bring the culprits to book in any case. The Prime Minister directed the IG Islamabad to take this incident as a test case and punish the culprits.
