So far, according to official documents, a fund of Rs150 million has been withdrawn from the allocated amount in the education budget and given to the Gujarat division.
According to the documents, the funds allocated for the construction of the university in Sahiwal have now been directly transferred to the native district of Muhammad Khan Bhatti, Secretary of the Punjab Assembly and one of the close aides of CM Elahi.
The documents revealed that the Punjab government has transferred Rs13.6 million earmarked for the construction of the university to Mandi Bahauddin.
The Punjab Finance Department has also issued a formal written order for the transfer of these funds of Rs13.6 million for development projects.
On the other hand, funds for the construction of the Veterinary University in Sahiwal will be spent on the projects of tuff tiles and paving of streets in Mandi Bahauddin.
