The CIP lounge at the Islamabad International Airport was handed over to Serena Hotel at a ceremony held at the airport on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The step reflects collaboration between the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and hospitality sectors.

Speaking on the occasion, Airport Manager Aftab Gilani said the lounge’s design provided a comfortable environment to passengers. “Partnership with Serena Hotels is the beginning of a new chapter,” Gilani said, and added, “The airport’s management by taking such steps is introducing new service standards.”
