Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Atif Gujjar Wednesday announced to part ways with his party and join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

A former PTI councilor from North Lahore, Atif announced his support for Abdul Aleem Khan and his party in the upcoming elections.

He also organized a reception in honor of Shoaib Siddiqi, IPP central executive committee.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that he had joined the PTI in 2011 and worked hard to establish the party in the constituency. “I condemn the policy of confrontation of Imran Khan with the military establishment and other state institutions. He also condemned the riots of May 9 stressing that he had decided to quit the party.

Expressing his gratitude, Siddiqi mentioned that Gujar's entry is not just a political move but a testament to his commitment to public welfare. Atif's background in developmental initiatives, such as free dispensaries, water filtration plants, and agricultural projects, aligns with IPP's vision for inclusive and progressive governance.
