Ertugrul star Burcu Kiratli showed her soft-hearted nature when she made a passionate an appeal to her family, friends and followers on her Instagram handle on Saturday and tells them what gift she needed this year from them.

Turkish historical fiction series Dirilis: Ertugrul gained immense popularity in Pakistan after it was telecast in Urdu as Ertugrul Ghazi. The show has five seasons.

Ertugrul actress Burcu Kiratli has played the role of Roshni Khatun (Gokce Hatun in the Turkish series) and won over a lot of Pakistani fans for her innocent aura and prowess in the acting.

She added a link on her Instagram profile and urged the followers to give her a birthday gift by donating to a social organisation that is working for the children welfare and education.

She has posted the appeal on her Instagram stories and wrote: “Let's see who bought me a gift. Make me and our talented children very happy.”

She is targeting to raise 10000 Turkish liras for the SosyalBen Foundation, which is aiming to discover and develop the social skills and social selves of children, who live in disadvantageous areas and between the ages of 7-13.

Burcu Kiratli’s passionate appeal on the donation page reads:

“My Dear Family, My Friends and Followers,

July 23 is my birthday.

This year, I do not want gifts or parties from you. Instead, I am launching my birthday campaign through @iyilikpaylas social donation platform for the @socialben Foundation to enable children aged 7-13 to discover and develop their talents. The donation aims at contributing to workshops such as painting, music, invention, short film, sports, game, photography, dance, creative writing.

Let's support the actors, screenwriters, dancers and scientists of the future together to some extent.

I thank you all very much in advance.”

And till the filing of the story, the Turkish heartthrob has already raised 120 Turkish liras in few minutes and one can hope that her generous family, friends and followers would take the campaign well over the set target that would remain open till July 24, 2020.

Hope this gesture of her will bode well with her Pakistan fan base who had earlier trolled her for her swimming video and bold pictures.

The actress also shared a light-hearted video on her Instagram story while driving with her pets and enjoying her favourite song in the background with lip singing.

And she looks mesmerising like always in the video as well.
