PML-Q President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that only the Army knows how to control the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to reporters along with Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi in Gujrat on Monday, Chaudhry Shujaat said there would be marked improvement in the country if everyone sacrificed their “egos” along with the animals. “Statements of political leaders nowadays are laced with arrogance,” he added.
Responding to a question, he said in next elections the decision to award party ticket for an MPA seat in Gujrat will be made by MNA Moonis Elahi.
He said all political parties should sink their differences and put forwards proposals to bring the prices down.
Shujaat said ideological differences in politics should not be turned into personal enmity.
On his part, PTI leader and Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said Ch Shujaat is the elder of their family and all the decisions are made by him.
He opined that there would be a sweeping transformation in politics in the years to come as new faces will dominate.
Responding to a question, he said due to PML-N government’s policies price hike has been imposed on the public. “It has become extremely difficult for poor man to make ends meet as rates of petrol, gas and other items have been skyrocketed,” he averred.
Pervaiz Elahi said Sharif brothers are not trustworthy as they have deceived them many a time. “Sharif family has done nothing except to hurt abuses at Imran Khan,” he added.
The public has fed up with the incompetent rulers, he said, adding the PML-Q will contest next elections after making an alliance with the PTI.
Moonis Elahi said Imran Khan has the ability to resolve country’s issues and their alliance with PTI will continue.
Moonis Elahi said they had promised to side with the PTI and they would honour it. He said Chaudhry Shujaat and Ch Pervaiz Elahi had tutored him before he entered politics that never trust Sharifs as they always stabbed in the back.
He said the PML-N government is taking its last breaths as it has miserably failed to serve masses.
“We are not floating any new party. We will contest elections from the platform of Pakistan Muslim League,” he maintained.
Moonis said “Insha’Allah they will triumph in by-elections.”
