A number of British universities have launched free scholarships for male and female students from Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking exclusively to City21News TV channel on Tuesday, Director Communication and Public Diplomacy at British High Commission in Islamabad Pawan Dhande disclosed that the several British universities have launched free scholarships for Pakistani students under which they can proceed to the UK for high education.
About Pakistan-British relations, Pawan Dhande said they wanted to bolster the bilateral ties further as 1.6 million people of Pakistani heritage contribute to every single part of UK life, including in senior leadership roles.
Pawan Dhande was on a visit to Karachi where he went to different parts of the megacity. He said Karachi is progressing fast.
Pawan Dhande was appointed at the British High Commission in Islamabad last month replacing Fouzia Younis who had been posted as the British Consul General in Toronto.
