Cash-strapped Panjab University has increased the fees of BS and MS programs as well as various diplomas to meet its expenditures, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
After the approval of the syndicate, a new schedule of fees was issued by the PU Treasurer on Wednesday. According to the details, the fee of medical diploma increased from Rs21,370 to Rs25,640.
The fee for taking the degree hiked from Rs3600 to Rs6000. The registration fee increased from Rs6,200 to Rs7,440.
BA Associate Degree Arts examination fee raised from Rs8,180 to Rs9,820, BA Associate Degree Science examination fee hiked from Rs9,450 to Rs11,340 and BSc Physiotherapy and Medical Laboratory fee from Rs11,030 to Rs13,240.
MBBS Form D fee from Rs17,230 to Rs20,640, fee for MD, MDS, MS part II raised from current Rs47,350 to Rs56,820. The fee for changing the center touched Rs5,500 from Rs4,500.
The practical exam date change fee increased from Rs2,450 to Rs2,940, rechecking fee from Rs2200 to Rs2640, data correction fee increased from Rs8000 to Rs9600 and migration fee increased from Rs3,250 to Rs3,900.
