Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with the head of Dawoodi Bohra community Syedna Mufazl Saifuddin during his visit of Burhani Palace and Imam Bargah Shah Shaheedan Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Shahzada Hussain Burhanuddin, son of Syedna Mufazal Saifuddin was also present on this occasion.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed good wishes for Syedna Mufazal Saifuddin saying we warmly welcome you to Pakistan.
Mohsin Naqvi said your arrival is a matter of honor for us. You have a relationship of devotion and respect that will always remain.
Mohsin Naqvi further said that the Dawoodi Bohra community is a peaceful and loving community.
Syedna Mufazal Saifuddin thanked Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for the prompt resolution of the issues related to Dawoodi Bohra community and presented a beautiful gift of shawl and blessings.
Later, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the arrangements at Shah Shaheedan Imam Bargah in Soldier Bazar and inspected the security arrangements as well
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also met with Maulana Ayatollah Aqeel Gharbi and former Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice Retired Maqbool Baqir.
On the occasion he said security and other arrangements at Shah Shaheedan Imam Bargah are excellent.
Mohsin Naqvi said the federation is in touch with all the provinces to maintain the atmosphere of public peace during Muharram.
Government is meeting the needs of all provinces to maintain peace and order during Muharram, said Mohsin Naqvi.
Maulana Ayatollah Aqeel Gharbi and Maqbool Baqir thanked Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for the excellent arrangements for public order.
