Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa Thursday inquired after opposition leader in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid over the telephone.

Both political leaders are in quarantine after testing positive for coronavirus.

The COAS prayed for the speedy recovery of both leaders and offered medical assistance to both leaders.

Meanwhile, Chinese leadership also extended good wishes to Shahbaz Sharif and hoped for his speedy recovery. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing contacted the PML-N president and offered all kind of support to him for his speedy recovery. Shahbaz thanked Chinese leadership for their good wishes.
