According to the economic documents of the fiscal budget 2021/22, the total estimation of the federal development budget will remain Rs900 billion and the federal ministries would get a chunk of Rs672 billion from the total Public Sector Development Programme outlay, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The civil aviation division would receive Rs4.29 billion in the development budget. Whereas cabinet division would get Rs56.2 billion and for climate change, Rs14 billion development budget has been assigned.
The development budget earmarked for commerce division is Rs300 million; for education Rs9 billion; for treasury ministry Rs94 billion; for higher education commission Rs37 billion; for housing and construction Rs14.94 billion; for human rights ministry Rs220 million; for ministry of industries and production Rs3 billion; for information ministry Rs1.84 billion; for IT ministry Rs8 billion; for interprovincial coordination ministry Rs2.56 billion; for interior ministry Rs22 billion; for ministry of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan affairs Rs61 billion; for ministry of law and justice Rs6 billion; for shipping & maritime ministry Rs4.95 billion; for ministry of anti-narcotics Rs330 million; for ministry of food security Rs12 billion; for national health services Rs22.82 billion; for national heritage and culture ministry Rs459 million; for petroleum division Rs3.7 billion; for planning ministry Rs99.25 billion; for social security Rs189 million; for railway division Rs30 billion; for science and technology Rs8.11 billion; for water resources Rs110 billion; for NHA Rs113.95 billion; for Pepco Rs53 billion and for other necessities and emergencies, Rs60 billion development budget has been allocated.
