Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday ordered the completion of the project of expansion and beautification of the shrine of Bibi Pak Daman ahead of the holy month of Muharram, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He was presiding over a meeting in Lahore to review progress made on the project so far.
The chief minister was told that the steel structure of the shrine’s central dome was complete, and that the construction of three other small domes would give a religious touch to the structure.
The CM was also briefed that wood and marble work was going on at a fast pace.
Renowned architect Nayyer Ali Dada, on the occasion, presented to him the project’s model, while Secretary C&W briefed CM Naqvi and others about the progress made so far.
