Sheikh Rashid dismisses opposition’s claim over MNAs arrest

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Thursday claimed both the members of the national assembly (MNAs), Salahuddin Ayubi and Jamal ud Din were not arrested by the police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his press conference in Islamabad, Rashid alleged that both the MNAs sat in the police station for publicity.
Sheikh Rashid said the parliamentarians tortured the police. Rashid said if the MNAs have any sort of issues, he is there to fix them.
The problem was with Ansar ul Islam while other parties interfered to claim point scoring, politically, added Sheikh Rashid.
The Interior Minister said that the JUI-F supremo will not be arrested. He added the opposition had staged a drama at the federal lodges by calling women.
Sheikh Rashid warned the joint opposition to not take the law into their hands, otherwise, it will have to face the consequences.
No one in the country is allowed to have a private militia, added Rashid.
Rashid has directed the four chief secretaries and IGPs to not allow anyone to take the law into their own hands.
Sheikh Rashid went on to say that for the last two months, the opposition is busy creating an environment of anarchy in the country.
He claimed the opposition will not be able to complete 172 members to oust PM Imran Khan.
Sheikh Rashid said that vote of no-confidence will be thwarted.
Sh Rashid said only he and Maulana Fazlur Rehman have a threat from the terrorists.
He added nobody would target Shehbaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari.
