Five Pakistanis including three children die in Iran

At least five Pakistanis of a family including three children were killed and four others injured owing to a gas cylinder blast in Iran, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.  

They are residents of Razi Patafi village near Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto in the Larkana district and have gone to Iran for working.

According to the initial reports, two sons of a local Munir Pitafi including 19-year-old Ghulam Raza and 16-year-old Muharram Ali are included who were burnt to death due to a cylinder explosion.  

His three nieces and daughter of a local Hassan Raza including 6-year-old Pathani and 3-year-old Umme Farah 2 became victims.  

The reports further said that at least 4 people including 3 women and a young man were injured in the accident and were shifted to a hospital for medical assistance.

Talking to the media, Hassan Raza Pitafi said that his three minor daughters have died in the accident. He said that the blast occurred when the family tried to switch on a heater to fight the intensely cold weather in Iran. “We have settled in Iran and are working in factories in Iran for the last twenty years,” he added.

He appealed to the government to make arrangements for bringing the mortal remains to the country.
