Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) advisory council has advised party Chairman Imran Khan to give tickets for elections to the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies to be held on April 30 to the party loyalists rather than electables, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his report submitted to Imran on Saturday, Council Chairman Hamid Khan said that since the PTI’s popularity was on the rise, therefore, it would be better if tickets were awarded to those who had been associated with the party for a long time rather than electables.
The report says those politicians, frequently changing parties, should not be awarded tickets.
Similarly, the recommendation has been made not to give tickets to those politicians tainted with corruption.
The council has advised PTI chief to give most of the tickets this time to the youth.
