The blockbuster drama serial Tere Bin is fronting harsh criticism over a scene depicting black magic in its latest episode.

The drama serial's 22nd episode featured character Haya (Sabeena Farooq) using black magic to harm her opposite character Meerab (Yumna Zaidi). She was spending late hours of the night in a room burning photographs of her rival by placing them on the smoldering candles. During the act, she was sprinkling scarlet powder on the pictures.

This strange piece of serial reflected the horrible rituals of ancient times, when people were relying on the sets of multiple myths and following the bundles of superstition.

After receiving the episode, the social media users lost their calm and flooded the comment section with their strong condemnations.

One of the users wrote: “Drama was going smooth but all of the sudden this magic scene spoiled the story”.

Another wrote: “the drama is turning into star plus serial.”

It is pertinent to mention that the comment section was appealing to drama makers for not showcasing the world of superstitions again. Although, media is considered a source of information for the audience so it should fulfill its duty with righteous manners.
