The Punjab government has announced a public holiday for today (Saturday) in Lahore in connection with urs of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain.

According to a notification issued by Punjab Home Department the other day, there will be public holiday on March 11 throughout the Lahore District.

The holiday was declared to mark the urs, the notification added.

All educational institutions will also remain closed.

The 435th annual urs celebrations of Hazrat Shah Hussain popularly known as Madhu Lal Hussain will begin in Lahore’s Baghbanpura area on Saturday.
