Lahore Corps Commander calls on Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz

 

Lahore Corps Commander Lieutenant General Syed Amir Raza called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday and discussed security arrangements during the holy month of Ramazan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Lahore Corps Commander also hailed public friendly steps of Punjab Chief Minister and assured her government of complete assistance in case of emergency.

Earlier, Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan Leslie Scanlon met Punjab Chief Maryam Nawaz and congratulated her on becoming first female Chief Minister of Punjab. Canadian High Commissioner also lauded public friendly policies of the government.

Maryam Nawaz thanked Canadian High Commissioner for her visit and pledged bilateral cooperation in education, IT and other sectors.
