May 11, 2020 12:31 AM

Will Hajj take place this year or not? A decision in this regard has yet to be taken.

According to the reports, the Saudi government is discussing the matters related to Hajj 2020 and these discussions have entered the final phase.

Like pilgrims, Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious and Hajj Affairs too is waiting for the Saudi government’s decision very anxiously. There are reports that a final decision on the Hajj this year is expected within a few days. For now, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj Affairs has not entered into any agreement on Hajj with Pakistan or any other country in the world.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj Affairs, an effective mechanism has been developed for cleanliness at the Holy Ka’aba. Disinfectant gates have been installed at all entrance points at the Masjid Al-Haram, also known as the Great Mosque of Makkah.

Earlier, it was said that a final decision on Hajj will be taken by 15th of the holy month of Ramazan. However, any decision in regard is still awaited.
