Two grid station workers shot dead in Lahore

Two employees of the Saidpur grid station were murdered gruesomely with a knife attack and fire shots in Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The slain employees were identified as 57-year-old Ishaq Masih, a sweeper at the grid station and 28-year-old Muhammad Amjad, who was in-charge of the control room.
Police arrested a suspect named Usman, another employee of the same grid station, on suspicion.

Sources claimed that the suspect had a brawl with the slain employees a few days ago.
Iqbal Town Police have shifted the dead bodies to the morgue in an Edhi ambulance.
Earlier on Monday, a couple was murdered in the Sabzazar area of Lahore.
Punjab Chief Minister and IGP took notice of the incident and sought report into the matter.
