Vaccination of journalists in Punjab to begin after Eid: CM Buzdar

What could be termed a big step in the fight against the coronavirus and keeping members of the journalistic community safe from the pandemic, the Punjab government has decided to start vaccinating journalists across the province after the Eid holidays, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Accepting the recommendations forwarded by the cabinet committee on coronavirus, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that journalists in the province would be vaccinated against the coronavirus on a priority basis after the Eid holidays.

In this connection, CM Buzdar has directed the health department to chalk out a strategy so that all journalists in the province could be administered the coronavirus vaccine.
He has also given instructions for setting up special centers at press clubs for the purpose.
