The price of gold on Wednesday witnessed a massive increase, as the dollar continued its upward trajectory against the rupees, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of gold per tola has been increased by Rs1300.

The per tola gold is now traded for Rs135,700.

According to Sindh Sarafa Bazaar Association, the price of 10-gram has also surged by Rs1115.

With this rise, the price of 10-gram gold has reached Rs116,341.

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has decreased by $11.

The price of gold per ounce reached $1852.
