PTI's Core Committee has rejected what it called false, misleading and baseless propaganda against the country's largest political party, under the guise of the May 9 false flag operation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Core Committee in its unanimous declaration said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was the representative party of millions of Pakistanis. The Committee demanded an end to interference in politics by the security agencies and urged the Armed Forces to focus on fulfilling their duty to national security.
The committee rejected the recent press conference of ISPR DG terming it as unconstitutional, illegal and in excess of authority besides the mixture of contradictions which put negative effects on the reputation and constitutional character of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
PTI's Core Committee unanimously rejected DG ISPR's demand for an apology, who called PTI, which is representing millions of Pakistanis, as an anarchic group.
The declaration said PTI, especially founder Imran Khan, has consistently condemned the false flag operation of May 9 and demanded a high-level judicial commission to determine the perpetrators of the violent incidents including arson and killing of civilians.
The committee strongly condemned the civil administration’s fascist practices to crush the nationwide peaceful protest against the false flag operation of May 9, 2023.
The committee also flayed police actions over the violation of the sanctity of house walls, the illegal siege of the houses of PTI leaders, workers and violence against peaceful protesters.
The Core Committee reiterated its demand for an independent, impartial and high-level judicial inquiry into the May 9 operation.
PTI also demanded an immediate end to the inhuman treatment of opposition leaders and workers under the guise of the false flag operation.
PTI also demanded a high-level judicial inquiry over rigging in general elections which were held on February 8, 2024 besides the statement of caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar.
The Core Committee strongly condemned the interference of the Election Commission of Pakistan in the process of nominations of judges for election tribunals by the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court in Punjab.
PTI also condemned the interference in the electoral process by the ECP, which failed to fulfil its constitutional duty of holding free, impartial and transparent elections.
PTI declaration flayed the efforts of PML-N in the Center and Punjab to mislead the people and negatively affect the election campaign of PTI candidates during the by-elections in NA-148 Multan.
Expressing regret over the brutal killing of innocents in Gwadar, the PTI Core Committee, expressed solidarity with the victims families and demanded strict action against those responsible.
