November 11, 2020 12:09 AM

Meera Tuesday took to the Lahore Press Club to respond to fraud allegations.

An organizer Saleem Guddu alleged that Meera ran after taking Rs100,000 advance and some dresses.

She was due to appear in an event on November 6 in Hyderabad, he added, claiming that the actress’s act left him faced Rs600,000 loss.  He made an appeal to the high-ups to help him get compensated.

Reportedly, footage showing Meera promising her participation an event was also circulating.

Later in the day, the actress with her father and fellows took to the Lahore Press Club to deny any wrongdoing.

“I’ll hang myself if I’m (proven) a liar,” she told the media. She asked state agencies to hold her accountable.

She said she was innocent and she claimed she would be showing the bank statement to the media but she clashed with some journalists later and left the club leaving her father and fellows behind.

Years ago, she was accused of $ 400,000 from her fiancé. Also, she was embroiled in a seven-year-long court case over whether she is married or not.
