CM Naqvi orders swift completion of Pindi hospitals’ upgradation

Interim Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi visited the Benazir Bhutto Hospital and Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi last night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

CM Naqvi reviewed the medical facilities provided to patients in the emergency block of Benazir Bhutto Hospital during his 3-hour-long visit to the medical centres.

He asked about the medical facilities from the people present at the reception of the emergency block.

The chief minister inspected different wards of the emergency block. He inquired after the health of patients and asked about the facilities of free medicines and free tests.

CM Naqvi met the duty doctors and asked them about their problems. He also met with the doctors of Holy Family Hospital who were performing duty in the BBH and appreciated their zeal to serve the suffering humanity.

He reviewed the upgradation work of the Holy Family Hospital during his exhaustive visit. He inspected the ongoing construction activities in the OPD and other wards. He went to the ground floor and first floor. He ordered to speed up construction activities.

He also directed to make the waiting area more spacious and improve the management of drainage in the basement.

Chief Minister Naqvi directed effective safety measures for hospital equipment and machinery. He ordered the authorities to complete the upgradation work within the stipulated timeframe.

Rawalpindi Commissioner, Medical Superintendents of both the hospitals, Principal, and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
