An accountability court in Islamabad has withdrawn its verdict to confiscate the assets of PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and ordered to return them to the former three-time prime minister, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court had issued the order for confiscation of the assets after declaring Nawaz Sharif a proclaimed offender in connection with Toshakhana reference in October 2020.
Accountability Judge Muhammad Bashir issued the orders for return of the PML-N supremo’s assets on Friday.
The assets are properties including 1,650 kanals of land in Lahore, vehicles including Mercedez and Land Cruiser and bank accounts.
