As many as 13 international and domestic flights were cancelled due to technical and operational hiccups at the Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Of 13, 11 of the flights were scheduled by private airlines while the other two were arranged by the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
Iran Air flight IR-813 from Karachi to Tehran was called off while Qatar Airways flight QR-611 from Karachi to Doha was also cancelled.
Serene Air flights ER-502 and 504 from Karachi to Islamabad was cancelled while Serene Air flights ER-522 and 524 from Karachi to Lahore were also called off.
Serene Air flight ER-811 from Karachi to Jeddah was also shelved along with Air Sial flight PF-125 from Karachi to Islamabad.
Air Sial flights PF-143 and 145 from Karachi to Lahore was cancelled while PIA flight PK-310 from Karachi to Quetta was also called off.
PIA flight PK-241 from Karachi to Damam was also cancelled.
Batik Air flight OD-136 from Karachi to Kuala Lumpur was also cancelled.
