ANF recovers 18kg heroin in Islamabad

The intelligence personnel of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) have foiled an attempt to smuggle a heavy quantity of heroin and arrested three persons including a woman in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the TV channel, the ANF team stopped a vehicle at Toll Plaza on Motorway near Islamabad and recovered 18 kilograms of heroin, hidden in the CNG cylinder of the vehicle.
The 18 packets of heroin are worth millions of rupees. The traffickers sell their drugs usually in Lahore, Faisalabad and Sialkot.
The ANF had seized drugs worth 8300 million dollars during August.
