A youth allegedly shot dead a girl and then turned the gun on himself after the girl’s family refused to marry her off with him in Jaranwala Tehsil of Faisalabad on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Youth Mazhar, a resident of Jaranwala’s Bilal Park, fell in love with Aminah and wanted to marry her but the deceased girl’s family turned down his proposal.

Upon refusal, heartbroken Mazhar entered the girl’s house and started firing at Aminah, killing her on the spot. Afterwards, he turned the gun on himself with a shot in the head ending also his own life. 

A Rescue team rushed to the spot and confirmed the death of both the youth and the girl.

Jaranwala police shifted the dead bodies to a hospital for post-mortem and started the investigation.
