Founder of Pakistan’s nuclear programme Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has shot down rumours about his death, saying he is hale and hearty, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a video message released on Saturday morning, Dr AQ Khan said “I am alright. Rumours about my passing away were making rounds since yesterday. By the grace of Almighty Allah he is perfectly alright.”
He said “I hope God Almighty will keep me alive for many years to come.”
There were earlier reports that the nuclear scientist was ill but he later recovered.
