Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Tuesday congratulated the nation on salvation from Naya Pakistan and said that all the deeds of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) would bring to the light soon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While talking to media in Islamabad, the former premier said, “Where has he [Imran Khan] taken our country to? Either the country can run or the NAB. This government will have to decide now.”

He added, “It’s now time for the NAB chairman to answer. The NAB officials, who kept violating the law and committing corruption, need to answer.”

He demanded, “The NAB should be abolished, and its officials should be held accountable. Their cases should be covered live by installing cameras in the courts.”

He blamed, “The NAB chairman was completely controlled by Imran Khan. A minister used to issue instructions. The NAB could not file a single reference against the Imran Khan’s government.”

He claimed, “The government will complete its term. All the facts and the deeds of the NAB will be brought before the people.”
