The Federal Shariat Court on Tuesday reserved its judgement on Riba (banking interest) case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A three-judge bench of Federal Shariat Court headed by Chief Justice Noor Muhammad Meskanzai heard the petitions filed against Riba-based banking system.
After completion of arguments by the lawyers, the court reserved its verdict.
During court’s hearing on March 29, Ahmed Ali from Meezan Bank appeared before it and gave a detailed presentation on Islamic banking system and replacement of conventional banking with the Islamic banking system.
