Putin congratulates Shehbaz on becoming premier

After receiving congratulations from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, now the congratulatory message poured in for Shehbaz Sharif from Russian President Vladimir Putin for becoming the 23rd premier of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to a statement by Russia’s embassy in Pakistan, said that “President Putin congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan.”

“Putin expressed hope that Shehbaz Sharif’s activities will contribute to further development of Pakistan-Russia cooperation and partner interaction on Afghan settlement, countering international terrorism.
