Senior spinner Amit Mishra has once again been caught violating the rules in the IPL.

The 40-year-old bowler violated the anti covid rules by applying saliva on the ball and the act was caught on cam.

The clip went viral, drawing demand for stern action against the Indian spinners.

The 15th match of the Indian Premier League was played at the Chennai Swamy Stadium

The brilliant performances of the players and then the sensational innings of Nicholas was the centre of attention.

However, Mishra stirred controversy when he came to bowl the twelfth over of the innings and committed a violation of the rules.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ICC had banned bowlers from applying saliva on the ball to shine it, but during LSG’s fourth match of the ongoing season of the cash-rich league, the 40-year-old Mishra was caught applying it on the ball.

Interestingly, Virat Kohli, who played the responsible innings of 61 runs, was dismissed in the over by Mishra.

Virat expressed surprise and anger over Mishra’s act too.

This is not the first time Mishra did this.  In last season too, he mocked the law while representing Delhi Capitals.

The incident happened before the start of the 12th over of RCB’s innings in the match.
