The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has prepared a polling scheme for the general elections in Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to the ECP schedule, about 52,000 polling stations will be set up for polling in 297 constituencies of Punjab Assembly.
The draft polling scheme will be published tomorrow. The candidates will be able to submit their objections to the draft polling scheme to the district returning officers (DROs) by April 20.
The DROs will hear the objections and give a decision by April 28. The final polling scheme for 297 constituencies of Punjab will be released on April 29.
