ARY’s drama Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha (MPHT) starrer Hania Amir, Wahaj Ali and Zaviyar Nauman gained top ratings and trending each week after it aired.

Fans were in awe of drama’s title track and Hania and Wahaj’s chemistry. The drama is a love triangle played by Hania as Maheer, Zaviyar as Areeb, and Wahaj as Saad.

However, it seems that fans are gradually losing interest in the drama due to its boring storyline and recent episodes of the drama are under major scrutiny. The drama, according to many, is being excessively dragged out. Fans are also disappointed by the turn of the story, saying Maheer’s behaviour towards Saad is disappointing and Saad’s arrest is unlawful.

The majority of fans believe that the plot has nothing to offer even the way Saad is being treated in the drama is way too uglier and disturbing. Nearly all of the viewers were of the opinion that the drama is only being watched because of the super talented and powerful actor Wahaj Ali.

Even now Indians fans have started spotting the similarities in the scripts of Pakistani dramas. An Indian fan tweeted, “it would have not required a lot of efforts from Hania because Hala, played by Hania in Mere Humsafar, and Maheer are the same without the brains, they just have to cry / Hania ko Ziyada mehnat ni krni padi hogi.. Maheer & Hala are same. With No brains, no sense, only rona dhona, drame krna”. 

A user commented, “This drama has started disturbing the mind.” Another user wrote, “This drama is getting boring day by day but Saad is the only reason why people are watching till now.” Another fan penned, “I think there is no story line left in this drama now, only one story is being dragged.”
