The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has decided to arrest the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders including Chairman Imran Khan in the petrol bomb case.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the JIT will arrest the PTI leaders after cancelling their bail from the court as they did not bother to appear before the team for investigations.
The report said the JIT has decided to approach the court to cancel the bail of Imran Khan and other leaders in the usage of petrol bombs and violence against police at the Zaman Park case.
PTI leaders Asad Umar and Mian Aslam Iqbal have recorded their statements in JIT so far but the party chairman Imran Khan, Fawad Chaudhry, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Jamshed Cheema, Ijaz Chaudhry, Hammad Azhar and Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed did not appear despite the JIT has been summoned them three times.
The JIT decided that soon after cancelling the bail, the arrests of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other nominated leaders will be implemented.
